Can I complete Phantom Liberty without triggering the base game ending?
I recently got cyberpunk and it’s dlc and am loving it! Ive been playing the base games story up until having to meet Hanako at Embers, which is the point of no return. Upon seeing that i decided to play through phantom liberty and am nearing the end of the dlc. I just want to make sure, am I able to fully complete phantom liberty’s story and still be able to go speak to Hanako at Embers afterwards?

yes.

you can choose the expansion ending after finishing the dlc, OR you can choose to put that off and choose it again after meeting Hanako at embers (if you took that path, that is)
if you chose the other path in the expansion, you still have to meet her at Embers to move past the point of no return

So just to double check(thank you so much for replying btw), I can complete the dlc then go meet her at Embers to finish the game? Only reason im double checking is I heard that the best ending is with Panama and I really want to get that but also really wanna finish the dlc.

Depends on the path you take in the end of the DLC. Some choices will lead to the DLC's 'end', others will just funnel you back into the main game endings.

Yes.
You have to play through the main quest in act two until you finished your business in Pacifica (VDBs, one way or another). This triggers the start of PL (and opens the gates of Dogtown)
From there you can play through PL, and if you like finish the game. You can also continue on the normal base game content. Or switch back and forth to your liking.
You can even finish PL, then finish the base game (or the other way round), and in the end you´'ll have two missions left: Meet Hanko in Emebers (to pick one of the base game ending) or call Reed (to pick one of the PL endings).
The start of the end (Act 3) is always behind a 'Point of no Return'' message

Yes. After pacifica you start the DLC anc complete it, you can go back later to continue the base game.

Also you only get the call Reed option with certain choices made in PL. Depending on what you do in PL, you might have only the base game endings available.

Thank you everyone for your responses. I ended up finishing the dlc and loved it! Gonna do all the side content before heading to Embers, thanks again!
