On Virustotal there is one positive detection for virus RiskTool.XMRigMiner.n
VirusTotal
cet_1_34_0.zip - 33.6 MB
0/96 - No security vendors flagged this URL as malicious
VirusTotal did NOT detect any threats
This can be easily verified by going to the VirusTotal website and copying the archive link, there are no other download links in this discussion
Please tell where exactly you found RiskTool.XMRigMiner.n ?
Thanks
yes it's only one but I don't want to take the risk to transform my pc into a dataminer

Direct link scanning gives negative result
Downloading and uploading the archive to VirusTotal does indeed confirm the threat Jiangmin RiskTool.XMRigMiner.n in CET 1.34.0
https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/107?tab=files
Exactly the same operation with CET 1.33.0 versions on NexusMods (downloading and uploading archive to VirusTotal) gives a similar result with a positive threat Jiangmin RiskTool.XMRigMiner.n

It is difficult to say why the results of online scanning differ from the direct upload of the archive
The only thing that is known for sure is that Windows Defender does not detect threats in CET 1.33.0 and CET 1.34.0 archives respectively
Thanks PPBoyington for your information and attentiveness
If you have additional information please share it
The immediate cause of the antivirus being triggered is bin/x64/version.dll file
Apparently RiskTool.XMRigMiner.n is a false positive, since there are many examples of false positives of the Jiangmin Antivirus Engine, such as the VLC media player, Adobe signed applications such as Creative Cloud and various .exe files of other games that I don't want to list in the Cyberpunk thread, but they can be found in a reddit search at Jiangmin false positive, they all got a false positive
Also, it is possible to make an unambiguous conclusion about the presence of a virus only after several antivirus engines have been triggered
Apparently, everything is fine with CET and this is a false positive
I am unsure whether it is CET itself or related to some other mods I have installed, but I have had a little trouble with this version of CET.
Specifically, when I alt + tab out of cp2077 with the console open, the game crashes.
The solution I found is simply to make sure you close the console before alt + tabing out of the game.
;)
