Do you guys think it will be discounted more near the end of the year?

basically i wanna buy this + DLC but normally there are huge discounts at the end of the year on steam, do you guys think it will receive a bigger discount? or should i be safe to buy now

I would wait longer if you have a bunch of other games to play first. If your library needs more new games, then buy it now. The 48% off is decent and hard to beat. Ive pretty much made a rule to myself to not buy anything now unless its at least 50% off. The 48% is close enough for me. I bought the base game on a good sale a time ago when the big DLC wasnt released yet. i just bought the DLC on its sale because im just now starting to play this game.

No. I would still recommend holding out though if you can. Like w3s goty release, cyberpunk will eventually become dirt cheap with all dlc included.

i looked into the sale history according to steam db the sale price and between autumn and winter sale was the same last year at 50% but this year its 55% off. if it follows the same model it might go down to 60% next year. im also on the fence about buying it.

Im about 17 hours into it, so far its a good game. Just tonight I had a bad bug during the Heist mission. The screen sometimes would turn red, like the lights in the building were all red. Later on the entire screen turned black and I was blind. Not great when youre being shot at! Turning on the frame limiter down to about 80 fps allowed me to finish. It seems many have had this bug in that mission. Thought Id let you all know that the game isnt without bugs, even though its been out a long time. The first 15 hours of the game were with no bugs though, no crashes yet.

Sometimes having bugs like that will make a game a no buy. I think its worth buying, unless that problem persists for me. My PC is more than capable too. Im using a rtx 3080ti, I9 10850k, and 64 GB RAM. This is the first game ive ever played that had these problems.

OP, you may want to look at the calendar... it is the end of the year and the sale you see is the sale you seek.

In my opinion, this is an amazing game and worth it at full price.
You should ask yourself if waiting really worth the extra $3.00 off, the 5% extra off that they may or may not offer?
You might want to be stingy on that $3.00, but if you're like many people you spend that on barely anything without even thinking on a daily basis almost.

Depends on how patient you want to be. CDPR is slower with the discounts than other publishers are, but their games are also better quality than most too. If you're waiting for a substantially better discount, you may be waiting a while.

-55% is as high as the discount is going to go for the foreseeable future.

It took them years to go from -50% to -55%, and it'll take them more years to ever go anywhere near -70% or higher.

Imo.
