Anyone familiar with "mod settings" on nexus?
Before the recent update, I had my game modded how I like it. Many mods, all working, including "mod settings".
I mainly used it for the in world navigation mod, that lets me turn the minimal off and enjoy the drive.
Well recently I installed all my mods after a clean install, and everything works, but the mod settings menu is blank.
I know it's working because the mods are working, for instance, a HUD mod that makes the hud dynamically display as needed. .. but I can't configure any mods via "mod settings" because it opens to a blank screen.

And the navigation mod is not functioning even though it worked perfectly last summer .

Anyone familiar with this and resolved it? I can't find any solution anywhere.

Some of your mods are probably outdated. You'll have to find the broken one, and disable or remove it.

I just did a fresh reinstall, and installed all mods that have been updated. So nothing is out of date, except the mods which were never updated because there was no issue.

As I said, the mods are all working (except for the navigation mod), and I know the mods that sit in that menu are there, but the menu itself just opens to a blanks screen. Confused.

Post on the nexus mod page for support would be your best option. Sometimes mods there have a discord page for support as well. I'm currently running the same mod with no problems. I have had a problem recently with vortex not installing mods correctly and having to do it manually. but 80+ mods including "mod settings" and my game is fine and stable

Mod settings works fine, you are missing a prerequisite most likely.

I have all of them installed with latest version.
As I said already, the mods are working. The menu is not displaying them to allow me to configure.

I have been manually modding my PC games for 15 years now. This mod and then Nav mod worked fine on my previous install. I already asked on nexus but it's crickets.
I'm confused cause right now I have around 60 mods.

All working except for the mod settings SHOWING the mods installed, and the Nav mod isn't functioning.

I know it's all good cause, for instance, my dynamic hud mod is active. I just can't configure it now.

Odds are I placed a file in the wrong location, or have a file nested in a subfolder and it should be outside of it. But it's kind of a pain to troubleshoot now lol.

In world navigation should be working fine. As another has said, I would double check your prerequisites.

In case I wasn't clear, I fully reinstalled the game and the first things I added were the prereq's. All are up to date, and I even updated the C++ file that's recommended just to be sure.
During trouble shooting I reinstalled every prereq again to make sure nothing was out of place. It would seem there's some file that SEEING these mods inside the menu depends on, and it's not where it should be.
This is such a specific problem. If my prereq's were not right, then the other 65 mods wouldn't be functioning.
The only mod that hasn't functioned is the in world nav, and the sliders menu within "Mod Settings".
Otherwise, that menu is there and the mods within are functioning. So I don't know what reinstall prereq's again will do for me. There's just some oddly specific issue at play.

These mods have worked perfectly for me in the past.

edit: I think I have two mods which use that menu. One is nav, and the other is LHUD I believe it's called.
Well, the hud is def working, as I have nothing on my screen until I drive or enter combat. So to me, it's weird.

Unfortunately, that's all that I have to offer for troubleshooting. Hopefully someone else will be able to offer more potential solutions :steamthumbsup:.
