Texture quality is set to high?

I keep changing it but after hitting default it reverts to back to high, any idea why?

default is just a prediction of what your system can do it doesn't mean its correct

I meant to say it keeps going back to default, I'm not hitting default.

Try changing the settings, then exit out of the game completely and reload.
