Money-making tips?
I'm struggling to make good money in this game. Each time I get close to having a lot, a quest will need a lot of it (like paying back Viktor, or paying Rogue).. Any tips on how I can get some good money? Would love to get some of these new apartments, but all the tips I find online don't work anymore since 1.5

Do missions, profit. 1.5 hands eddies out as rewards way more than previously.

Do missions, scrap everything under $100 and sell everything over $100. If you are using a netrunner build then hacking will make you a lot of money if you have all the perks for it selected.

I've currently level 50 and most of the way though the game and have made about 1.5 million eddies. A LOT of that came from hacking, probably 1/3 to 1/2.

Crafting still makes the most money. The difference is that all the legendary crafting specs in static containers were removed, but enemies still have them. Try hitting some of the organized crime locations and you will loot a few of those. Legendary Ashura crafting plan, an old moneymaking favorite, can be found in Santo Domingo's easternmost Organized Crime's boss.

Low level cheap components crafting tip: The cyberware modifications for the optics, They can be bought at rippers and need very few components none above rare, (even for the legendary mod) and sell for quite a bit, The rare one can make a profit, and can be done as early as level 2,.

I make most of my money just driving around and killing all the random NCPD encounters I can find. Then I disassemble certain items and sell the rest. Sell Sell Sell :)
OR patience is a virtue :)

Get to high level, enemy loot scales to your level.
Farm enemies, sell guns, profit.
You get >$2k purple items at level 50 from random enemies.

Pacifica has some really dense mob spawns.
Mobs either respawn when you get far enough away or 1/day.
(some never respawn, but those are usually gigs/NCPD calls)

Crafting. If you know how to "loop" restocks by waiting you can make millions faster than any other method in the game.
STEP 1: As soon as you gain access to open world at the start of chapter 1 farm NCPD assult in progress locations, and break down everything you aren't using into components. Once you cleared the majority of them run the story line to act 2.
STEP 2: After you complete act 1 heist head directly to the clothing store JINGUJI and buy the purple sport coat schematic, and make sure you have enough points into crafting to craft epics. Head back to V's apt building an go to the gun shop there because you can wait inside of it. Start crafting as many of those coats as you can, sell as many as he can afford to buy and buy out all of the components you need to make more of them. THEN WAIT 24 HOURS! This will restock his money and the shop. Repeat step 2 for as long as you need to begin crafting legendary items.
At this point you should have anywhere from a few hundred thousand, to a few million eddies depending on how long you ran the loop for.
STEP 3: Repeat step 2 with legendary weapons.
STEP 4: Profit.

Well, yes, making infinite money if you have tech skill is easy, but I'm not assuming everyone has tech cranked to max.

You can do it at level 2 with only 5 points into tech as well

Alternative method:
Fast-travel to Pacifica Pier.
There's a lot of enemies there on the Beach.
Just go sweep the Beach along the shore from one side to another, as you go back they already respawn.
This is perfect for both money farm and leveling your combat perks.
There's also a nearby Drop Point where you can sell your loot.

Money is really easy to come by.

First thing: You're a Merc, an urban mercenary. You make your living by doing 'Gigs'. There are plenty of them. While heading for your next contract, consider stoping by for a 'Scanner Hustle' as a NCPD Subcon(tractor), meaning: The cops pay you for killing a few criminals

- Scanner hustles are quick and easy money. 2-5 minutes. 1000 eddies.
- Apparently after killing a few robbers you are legaly allowed to go through the pockets of the victims to. Finder, keepers. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
- Gigs can easily pay up to 15k eddies plus everything you can loot. Make sure to look around. You'l be surprised how often the bad guy have a safe with 2-3000 eddies under the desk.
- These red icons on your minmap? Data acces points. Just jack in while you're there and do the hacking minigame. Getting 3/3 is hard, but 2/3 is mostly doable in 5 seconds and gets you 500-1000 eddies.

And that is all without selling guns/apparel. I always disassamble these to upgrade my gear. I have enough money.
No need to waste your time with some menial exploits unless you want to buy all the vehicles.

First, I would use quickhacking/netrunning skills to loot terminals for the most expensive components. Don't worry about trying to get all the numbers in the matrix number layout--you only need to do this once in order to get an achievement...but I always concentrate on the last code in the sequence. When you connect to a terminal, you have all the time in the world to figure out the right sequence, as the timer doesn't start counting down until you make your first selection.

There's a perk that doubles your payout for terminal hacks as well.

This will give me a lot of eurodollars, legendary, epic, uncommon components, and then I leveled up my tech to 18, got the perk for Netrunner Artisan, and started crafting legendary Ashuras. I only had to keep buying rare item components due to the large amount of the more valuable components I already looted. You can still make a profit buying the legendary and epic components, since crafting Ashura's takes like 3x legendary and 6x epic or something.

Also, I sell anything that I'll never use, such as copperheads and extra blunt weapons.

Edit: Also, if you finish all the missions and gigs, you can still "clean the streets" by attacking gangs and then looting them. Pretty sure the police do not care if you kill anyone who has a bounty on them.

Avoid buying weapons from gun shops...especially fancy ones. Find the crafting specs and make them instead. For instance, a legendary pistol will probably set you back 50k eddies

Just hoard your eddies :)

The easiest way to make money without actually doing gigs/missions is to do the NCPD crimes that popup on the map as you explore. You usually only need to take out 3-6 enemies and it only takes a few minutes. Even if you don't have a hacker build you should at least be able to use the Infection quickhack. Use Infection from cover to a lay a DOT on the pack of enemies and take them out with your preferred method. Loot their bodies and sell the loot. Do that enough times and you'll end up with a few thousand eddies in a few minutes. You can also use this method on the small groups of gang members you see hanging around. Anyone with a yellow symbol over their heads are considered enemies and you can take them out without repercussions. And unless they're cops most have bounties which add a little more money when you take them out.

But all-in-all: Kill>Loot>Sell>Repeat gets you more money than you'll know what to do with.

Get the Target analysis cybermod and make them until your finger bleeds.

The place you buy the crafting thing is from the ripperdoc northeast of the kabuki (Buck's Clinic) in an alleyway or Viktor if you have paid him off.

You use 5 each of the rare, uncommon and common item components, Also you need to be able to make Rare items.
