Quick hacks, Berserk or Sandevistan?
I would like to use Berserk or Sand, but like the quick hacks are so good, and I assume you'd lose them if you replace the cyberdeck

It's totally a playstyle choice. You lose hacks in exchange for not needing them.

Either you're a Netrunner or a Solo:)

what i hate about not going cyberdeck is that you cant even hack access points anymore and thats money and componentwise a huuuuge tradeoff. no idea if they changed it though.

Best to plan to not have a cyberdeck from the start, therefore putting no points into INT, which means you can't hack most access points anyway.

i mean if you got int on 5 wich requires 2 points of leveling it AT MAX, you can hack about 80% of the access points. then one perk point into the perk that gives you higher rewards for hacking one and boom, you got yourself a money maker machine that doubles how much you will get out of your average sidequest or scanner hustle. i say its worth it but thats subjective i guess. i just like to get my cyberware or desired rides as early in a run as possible.

It works fine, though you can also farm street gangoons and sell their guns to make up for it while actually getting combat XP

i mean you can also do that on top of farming access points.

You can but that's a lot of time spent in a boring minigame, especially if you want to get all three levels of the hack and you keep exiting and entering it until it gives you a good pattern.

Well even if you dont miss quickhacks, you´ll certainly miss the ability to distract roaming guards with vending mashines, tvs and the like. I did at least.

If you're gonna stealth, just keep your deck because you won't make use of a combat OS anyway.

If you only need stealth on rare occasions, optical camo.

Otherwise just alert the place and kill everybody.

ofc cyberdeck on first play-thru. it's CYBERpunk afterall.
second go around, Sandevistan, katana (w/speed-up mod), crafting (!), body-heat-radio...and ofc the 3 three bullets from roger rabbit. everybody is dead before they wake up:)

Basically if you wanna be stealthy, or balanced, keep your cyberdeck.

If you wanna hulk out and punch people to death, chop them in half, go ham with automatic weapons, or be Neo, then use Berserk or Sandevistan.

Human CPU or human weapon, your choice.

You can switch cyberware for free anytime at your local ripperdoc.

Cyberdeck is a huge part of the game, and the lack of it can cripple you hard in some missions.
With that said, if you go deckless then active camo is a requirement if you want the bonus/not fail some stealth missions.
