Can't trigger Don't Fear The Reaper

Before you ask if I've completed the Johnny side jobs and picked the correct dialogue options, yes, I made sure I chose all the correct options and that I had the side jobs done before I entered Embers. I've been sitting on three different menus for about 20 minutes and not on one of them does Johnny give me the option to go to Arasaka Tower alone, even picking the pills didn't trigger it like some posts here and on Reddit said it would.

Is anyone else having this issue? Is DFTR just bugged now because of 2.02?

you have to choose the other ending options then change your mind and go back to choices. exhaust the dialog options then he will suggest it.
