Always getting Carry Capacity Shards in Airdrops

On about a week in farming for cyberware shards and I always... always get Carry Capacity. What's going on? Has this been always the case?

Same here but can't remember that i ever found a cyberware shard in an airdrop but in lot of other chests or dead enemies.

Hunting down mobs gave me the most cyberware capacity shards, so, every mission I just killed all the mobs. Even if it is 'do not get detected'. Else the capacity stayed on 240 - 250, i get mostly money shards

Im stuck at 315. I wish CDPR fixed this already....

2 CWC from uncommon shard (green)

3 CWC from rare shard (blue)

4 CWC from epic shard (violet)

6 CWC from legendary shard (orange)

If you are "farming" CWC shards just know there is a soft cap around 310 - 320 CWC, will start to notice after air drops mostly drops capacity shards if you are maxed out of progression skills too or on rare occasions money shard.

I found out when I was trying out a mod that enhances your CWC to edgerunner levels for cyber psychosis

Personally don't know about maxing CWC, but there is a mod that doubles your CWC and its called "more cyberware capacity per level" on nexus and I've installed it & tested for 2.02. CWC was close to 600 and also tried to see if I could install all the iconic cyberware but couldn't fit all of them in with this mod.

If modding is natural to you then its a pretty easy install, but if CWC is your tunnel vision before you download that mod just know these modes have requirements too so just make sure you download TweakXL mod, it's an extension loader for CP2077. It is one of the requirements to run this mod.

Airdrops have a 100% drop chance of carryweight shards.

As for cyberware shards, there's a limited amount of each type you can loot, for a total capacity bonus of +80 if you get them all, but them dropping at all is RNG. There's a few locations more likely to drop them if you don't already have all of the tier they can drop, but that's it.

I wish we can just buy these damn shards already. The system is still broken even now.
