Stuck on Escape All foods task
I am stuck on escape all foods task in act 1 on normal difficulty level. I tried many things but nothing helped. Will it be easier to pass through if I choose Easy mode ? Will there be lot of combat even on easy? Can someone please guide.

Op can just go around and finish mission without killing Royce. I don't know if there is any penatly for it or something

From the sounds of it, he hasn't even made it out of the room where you grab the Flathead. We also don't know if he shot Royce in the head or not.

Anyway, I used the chip with the money from Meredith in this mission, I bypassed sideways Royce, without killing him. After leaving the location and meeting with M again, her soldiers did not allow me to go back to the location with Royce, did I lose something because of that?

The amount of combat doesn't change on Easy, it's just that the enemies have less health and deal less damage. But yes, setting it to easy will definitely help you. You don't get anything for playing on harder difficulties, there's no achievements or anything. So if that's the way you'll enjoy the game more, go for it!

Cyberpunk is generally more difficult in the early stages and gets easier as you get more perks and better equipment, so if it gets too easy you can just set it back to normal later.

The Pickup gig is one of the most varied missions in the game, as to possible paths and outcomes. Most new players are only focused on the immediate outcome, but what you do regarding Royce and Brick have a direct effect on a later mission.
If you didn't kill Royce during the Pickup, you'll be seeing him again. And since you didn't kill him during The Pickup, you didn't get his Iconic handgun, Chaos.

There isn't a wrong way to go here though. It's probably better to kill Royce during The Pickup, but isn't the end of the world if you don't.

Hopefully i just checked and i can buy this weapon later somewhere in phantom liberty so nothings lose if it any good one^^ Yeah i trying to kill him but going around and when i want to come back kick his booty, Merediths dudes block my way back. Nothing happen, my next run with other that nomad pick will be better

Don't stand still. Get behind that sofa and use grenades, This is the most easy fight in the game.

you have the limit of 2 grenades at your level and then they recharge "over time" like if they are a consumable.
Usually, 2 grenades are enough to take them out anyway, but if they not, just shoot them from behind the sofa until they recharged.

Also, if you really struggle, put your first points in Body for some extra HP
Sure I would try using grenades. Thanks.

OP - honestly ? I tend to level up a bit by clearing all the NCPD hustles & some other odds & sods before I do The Pickup. Sure, the enemies scale with you but it's just easier with the extra HP/attribute points/perks/cyberware/quickhacks/whatever.

But yeah, failing that, knock the difficulty level down until you're happy with it. No, you don't have to start a new game to change difficulty.
Sure thanks. Will try this approach as well.

Thanks. I was wondering if easy mode will somehow make it easier for me to escape, I understand the combat would still be there.
