so I finally want to buy the game
and I'm wondering if the game has been properly fixed. I was aware of the whole kerfuffle with the bugs and etc but it has to be much better now. specially since the game is on discount.

It was disappointing for the 1.0 release but the game is in a state now where I can quite confidently say it's amazing.

The nature of this genre comes with a host of bugs but it is seemingly less buggy than other games in the same category. Your mileage may vary because things always depend on peoples unique PC specs.

But give it a shot and if you don't like it or have tech issues you can always refund.

i bought the game earlier this year, and have just now completed it. from my time playing, i haven't encountered any game breaking bugs, the game runs perfectly, and its such an incredible game. definitely worth picking up right now.

Definitely recommend buying it, I've just told my mate it's on sale he gonna go crazy with mods
I didn't buy the game when it first came out and have only really started playing the last couple of weeks. I think it's really good. There are some minor visual glitches every now and then but the overall gameplay is great. Definitely give it a shot, as Yuki said. On Steam, you can always return it within the first two hours.

Hmmm. I could only play for 2 hours before refunds. But i do have witcher 2 and 3 so this game cant be bad at all.

Just hope its not too spec heavy. I do have a 3070TI
Your 3070Ti will run it, even with 8GB VRAM. As to what settings/res you'll be able to run it at, how happy you're going to be depends on your expectations.

I have a 2070 Super, and I get 50-60 fps on 1080p, ultra settings, without RT.

I'm 39 hours in and have encountered 0 gameplay impacting bugs or crashes. It's a good game for sure.
i have 300h on gog playing right now no bugs no ♥♥♥♥ no nothing, game as smooth and polished as it can be, sad they ruined reputation by terible launch, would not bought game my self if they did not fix it

It's not completely bug or glitch free, but no more than you can expect from other large open world RPGs. Provided that your rig can handle the game, the whole gaming experience is one of the best I've had in decades of gaming. Cyberpunk is a bloody masterpiece.

If anyone's interested I recently came across this article on the real reason Cyberpunk was released in an unfinished state

https://www.thegamer.com/cdpr-cyberpunk-forced-release-early/

and subsequently this article
https://www.gamesindustry.biz/cd-projekt-resolves-dispute-with-investors-over-cyberpunk-2077-launch-issues

edit: Let's hope CDPR has learned a valuable lesson from this incident.
