Nobody should drink that crap. I have a friend that years ago was basically addicted to energy drinks. He is now in and out of the hospital with multiple organ failures.

I am part way through my first play-through, and as far as I know Johnny does not drink anything since Johnny is just a construct and currently has no real control over me (V).

Even If Johnny manages to gain more control and makes me (V) smoke and drink, it's not really Johnny smoking and drinking since it's V's body.

Please no future game-play spoilers, just accept this is what I believe right now.

I am talking about the Game: If Johnny has to tell me that he won't talk to me if I don't follow an in game character, this surely suggests he does not have any control, therefore can only experience the world through V.
