No way. Johnny drinks hard liquor straight up and lots of it. He gets a new artificial liver in one of the cut scenes of his memories. Monster is non-alcoholic. Johnny wouldn't bother with it.

all good arguments. another thing though is why the tech was being researched. immortality not just conciousness but replacing and thus physical form and all that includes. this is step above of like alt in concept and application.

I'm pretty sure they mentioned saburo arasaka was looking to become immortal so he could be in charge of Arasaka forever or basically just any super rich corpo person.

If you struggle to understand the VR example it's possible you won't understand the following.

Since Quantum physics research claims that this universe and all we observe is just a holographic representation of the information contained on the event horizon of black holes.
How can we really be talking about experience without knowledge of how we experience, and if the holographic universe is true then humans don't really understand how we experience or even have knowledge about the larger existence yet.

Again... Johnny is a construct, and will only ever experience anything second hand via V or V's body.
Currently V has control and Johnny has none.
