Regarding Phantom Liberty's storage size

It says 70 GB in the recommended, does that mean the total size of the game as a whole is 70 GB or is the DLC adding 70 GB to the base game?

Neither sounds right since the base is already 68 GB and I doubt the DLC only adds 3 GB to the base game but another 70 is bigger than the main game.

Anyone got any ideas?

it wouldn't be surprising if the total install size is a little over 70gb when it's done. afterall the Hitman Trilogy (2016-2021) went from like 120-150gb to a shade under half that when it was optimized + compressed to eliminate duplicate assets etc.
that said i'm guessing it'll be like 90-100gb when its all done

Yeah, 20-30 GB sounds a lot more reasonable.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ doom eternal was 89 gigs and objectively had way less assets to load then cyberpunk did, so this makes sense
