I CANNOT GET MODS TO WORK
I am trying to use the change your favourite car mod from nexus, I installed and enabled redmod, and put the archive folder of the car model I wanted into the "mods" folder inside of cyberpunk, yet my car is still the default colour.

I would love some help it is driving me insane.

Edit: upon research I may need the cyber engine tweaks mod? Is that usually something that is required to install mods? And does it conflict with redmod

yes CET is often used with these mods and i suspect all Redmod mods.

Make sure to read the installation instruction and the requirements of your mods.

Make sure to update your mods including Cyber Engine Tweaks.

cyber engine tweaks mod is one of the most common mod requirements and no it shouldnt interfer with redmod.

you should be fine in this case but keep note of which files you install in case the game doesnt launch.

On Nexus mods it will tell you what master dependencies are required for the mod you want to work. Make sure it is installed.

It told me to put my .archive file in cyberpunk>archive>pc>mod but when i do the model of the car doesn't change.

I know have cyber engine tweaks and it hasn't helped.

Is there anything i could be missing?

EDIT: I finally figured it out dw

Can you please say how/what you did to fix your issue? It can help others later who may have the same problem.

Also, for others who have issues, that installing CET (Cyber engine Tweeks) does not fix....if you also have REDMod installed, but are having problems, try installing CyberCMD.

Cybercmd helps the mods work with REDMod when they don't want to play nice together.

Well I installed CET, and then I put the file into archive>pc>mods, i put the mod file in a different place the last time round, I think CET is what fixed it because on the official mod page it didn't mention CET but on another page it did.

I think redmod wasnt required for the mod i was using in the end.

most mods dont use redmod, i had one mod with redmod (extra ammo storage) but it broke another mod i had, so i found a replacement that used cyberengine tweaks instead and it worked just fine.
