This game's music is so bad it gave me Tinnitus
Seriously, the soundtrack is probably the worst in living memory.

Got the mod that changes one of them and it's better, but it just boggles my mind how we didn't get a single track like Bladerunner / Deus Ex HR / Tron etc. Those movies & games had absolutely amazing music and were set pretty much literally in a similar world and vibe.

Bladerunner and Deus Ex are noir thriller at their core. Cyberpunk, as in the world created by Pondsmith, is not. It's all about "style over substance" by design.
That said, there is a track that has the same vibe of Bladerunner

And there are some great tracks in the radio

Considering that these are all original tracks, the complaints about the radio are absurd

All I can say is, yes, I pretty much completely agree, the in game music, especially the radio station music, is garbage, maybe good for all I know for someone who likes that style of music but to my mind it's annoyingly loud, repetitive, garbage. Makes me want to go drive around in GTA V now. LOL

I like what they did with the world's music, even if I dislike a lot of the tracks (and there's a lot of them to choose between). Refusing to be a cliche by pumping out synthwave and, instead, going out and asking for artists willing to do something different (ie not chart music) or fuse different styles was a good call in my book. Namakopuri as US Cracks was inspired casting.

Instrumental music is, of course, top tier.

Um, escape, settings, volume, music volume slider? First thing I do in any game is turn it down.

So you're saying you don't like Samurai. *leans back and folds arms across chest* So tell me - what ELSE about you, besides your taste in music, sucks donkey balls?

*Disclaimer: Not being serious here. ;P*
Well I was okay, turned off radio and stuff but hearing the menu everytime I start the game is super aggrivating, then I entered a club with nobody in it, just looting everything and I hear this awful music playing through the club that sounds like some sort of cyberpsycho babbling non-sensically to techno.

Funnily enough, going to too many metal and punk gigs as a teenager; gave me tinnitus...

there are really good tracks in the game, the irony is that the good ones are rarely heard, and the bad ones more often.
the musical background of deus ex is better, i like to turn off the music while playing and let the music of hans zimmer bladerunner play in the background :)

my man turn your volume down! I wish I could have gotten my tinnitus from this piece of art. gotta say the soundtrack is a masterpiece.

I wonder when game cames out. How did this music get into it, such a mixed random sounds I'd say. More then I wonder because previously they had a contracts with good music creators

It's almost as if there are several genres, clearly distinct through radio channels or something.

I can see that the soundtrack of this game might not be to everybody's taste, but I think OP is trolling.

In any case, there's a mod called RadioEXT that allows you to create and play your own radio stations, and dozens of actual radio station mods to download, so quit yer ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥'.

Completely subjective thing is bad thread, take #2084767.

Once more and just as unforgettable.

I find the game music to be great and I love how it picks up in combat, it's the radio music which lets it down for me. I'm constantly skipping stations, looking for good music and sometimes just turn it off because the music gets annoying

The music should have been more ambient, ala Blade Runner. Nothing about this thrash metal is remotely futuristic.
