It's probably related to the 5G too, let me get grab some red string, wee gonna need a lot
Guy a page back gets a blanky!
Every single intro (because lifepath is too generous of a word) has the same problem, the fast forward should have been a playable chapter on its own
It's a tall order and obviously a massive amount of additional work, but as it is now it's just a gigantic ♥♥♥♥ you teaser that lets you blue balled and sets the tone for the rest of what you'll experience in the game
Everything concerning V's origin and Jacky is just way too light, and then you're supposed to feel a connection with both V and Jackie, and get feelings on command
V has the rest of the game for you to recover but then she has to compete with the Johnny genXer self insert
For Jackie it just falls flat, although i guess that's enough for many players
The entire game has a massive case of "show, don't tell"
The lifepaths
V's origin and early relations
The entire first part of the story
The absolute lore vomit contained in hundreds of inane shards
The complete absence of interactivity which you can only imagine from exposition and never from first hand experience
Cardboard City
I'll still defend the overarching story and staging, but the gigantic waste still manages to drag it down with it
Agree with that wholeheartedly.
At least Nomad V gets some interesting interactions with the various Nomad NPCs. Street Kid felt like so much wasted potential which makes it hilarious that it's somehow the most popular. I guess alot of middle class brats like to fantasize about themselves living that thug life
I dont know if it's true but supposedly somebody tallied them up and Street Kids also have the least amount of contextual dialogues unique to them. And they dont really impact any major quests. So yeah, definitely the weakest of the three but it wins all the polls because the thug life or some such nonsense.
