Why are the clothing options so awful?
Most of the clothing with any sorta decent stats look completely awful. Why are stats tied to clothing anyways? This makes gives us 0 options if we want the best stats. There are also only 5 special outfits, all of them look bad.

You don't like a gilded cowboy hat with no option to transmog it to something else? (Me neither)

At first I hated it, but I have come to embrace the clown costume. Now I love finding a new piece of colorful clothing that looks worse than the last every time I loot a new body.

I don't think it's "awful", but getting the right pieces together is time-consuming. My character looks decent, even with all those colourful options. In the end, it's West Coast California.

Yes the game needs a transmog system asap like they do in mmos, the clothes shouldn't even be tied to stats in the first place they could have used mod slots for that with the clothes being purely cosmetic.

During character creation, if you hit the random character generation feature a few times, you can get a definite concept of cyberpunk's intended "styles".

That said, if you go into the game's bonus content directory and look at the page on "lifepaths", you might notice that "bag lady chic" was one of the fashion statements for personal style in the game world. (Normal clothes was another...)

But, also, if you really want it, there's a save file editor[www.nexusmods.com] that you can download which lets you edit[www.nexusmods.com] your clothing.
