I am stuck cloud syncing no matter what I try

I have done everything except delete and redownload the game and yet I can play the game because it gets stuck cloud syncing... any suggestions?

I turned off cloud syncing on steam. Fixed the issue

cloud sync option in the game settings menu can be toggled off. that worked for me

Disable that new thing they added recently, cross saving? At least that was the culprit for me.

I had the same problem. Disable the cross save feature in the gameplay menu

Disabling 'Steam>Settings>Shader Pre-Caching' might also help -- even if it's not "the fix", it should be done, anyway.

turning off clould sync never worked for me. I turned it off both in the steam setting menu and the game property menu. I am still getting cloud sync.
Sometimes It takes forever to load or save a game because the server is slow.
I haven't figured out how to solve this yet.

I turned off my VPN and failure to load the save screen and the load screen stopped.
