i killed all
But...
The VDBs openly state that they think a war between humanity and the rogue AIs is coming, and they plan on siding with the AIs. They are willing to sacrifice any human that isn't part of their little tribe.
Oh, and they try to kill V the moment he's done helping them. Thats just how they do it, thats their style. Not part of our group? Kill him. Same with Evelyn.
There's a reason noone does business with them.
So yeah, I kill every single one of them. If that means that I'll have to help Netwatch then so be it. The enemy of my enemy and so on.
I usually side with the VDB's against the Netpig, not because it makes sense to trust or even like the VDB's, but because they are the entire reason you're there in the first place. The whole point of this job is to get an audience with Brigitte in the hopes that she can help you get the chip out of your noggin', so it makes little sense to betray them whilst you still need them.
But that said, the moment the chip reboots me i'll tell Johnny "not gonna let this lie..", because yeah, after what they did to Evelyn, what they just tried doing to you, and what they have undoubtedly done to many Merc's just like you in the past, some payback is in order.
Sure enough, they try to use you as a Kamikaze once again when they make you try to cross the Blackwall, so after speaking to Alt, it's time to mop the floor with them.
Been awhile I played but I think if you call Mr. Hands he mentions something like that the energy usage on Pacifica dropped noticeably.
Found it funny, you also contribute to energy savings by killing all those VDBs.
This is why I side with NW. Not because I like the corpos but I even more hate those who claim they are fighters for freedoom while in reality they are as bad as the corpos and would be probably even worse if they had the power of Arasaka.
