Finally got the Photorealism working actively in Cp77 via the Enbseries
To be clear, it's always been working in a passive manner, however now it's working more actively as a post processing step.

The Enb shader is from Natural Vision, however this can work with any Enb series provided you have the .dll files needed. I edited one of the .fx files - saving it as a new file and renamed to AI. I removed most of the contents of the file that I didn't need and added in these lines of code:

{
pass p0
{
SetVertexShader(CompileShader(PhotorealismEnhancement-main()));
SetPixelShader(CompileShader(PhotorealismEnhancement-main)));
}
}

And this for the .ini file that goes with it:

[ENBAI.FX]
TECHNIQUE=1
AI Intensity %=100.0

You will need to put photorealism folder put into the enbseries folder, so the enbseries can read and apply it. Now it's a waiting game, AI has to learn.

In any case, I just wanted to share my findings for anyone who uses the Enhancing Photorealism Enhancement AI.

Could you please elaborate and show us the end result?

The end result won't be for awhile, but I'll post a screen shot if it happens. If you don't know about the photorealism AI, here's a video on it:

Congrats! i once use ENB Series on Skyrim, sadly it's a performance killer. I know every game looks amazing with ENB, but it eats your frames like PacMan the pills. So i stay with Reshade, meanwhile there are SSR and RTX effect filters, which looks also really nice but it's more performance friendly like ENB.

For Cyberpunk 2077, i use the E3 2018 lighting mod and a suitable Reshade which also looks fantastic and gives me the E3 2018 demo vibes, even with the 2018 "V" look and clothes etc.

I also saw the GTA V AI video last year and it looks very greenish for my opinion, like a green filter or stuff.

I look forward to see your pics :)

Yeah, I've seen the vid and I wanted to make sure this is what you're referencing.

I'm really curious on what you think \ plan to \ can achieve with it in Cyberpunk.

Fingers crossed though, because. It works passively via the use of a neural network, however doesn't go as far as what I saw in the video; I'm hoping that the enbseries will change that.

Here is what it looks like before adding lines to the enbseries. The AI is currently doing little things passively. I'm not sure what it'll look like via a screen shot, but here's the link:

edit
-removed-. I've removed all of my pictures and am starting over.

fixed

Ah true. I got rid of all of the enb shaders except ssr and the new AI.fx shader that I edited and saved. As to the enb itself, I'm using the lowest version from the Natural Vision mod. I'm also using the lighting mod from nexus, no reshade though anymore.

edit:
Also, ah true. From what I've seen from using it, the AI's learns by way of the pictures that are fed into it.

Seems to be more an factor of it being a demo and less a factor of not doing it correctly. So it basically handles geometric complexity, the fesnel effect, and a few other things, but no re-texturizing, or anything.

All good, I have no complaints :steamthumbsup:.

So here's my current screenshots. Long way to go of course, but the AI is making progress.

Enbseries is off, since it interferes with my ability to take a screenshot - Ray traced local shadows and sun shadows on - ambient occlusion low - other shadows low - textures max - SSR medium - decals max - LOD max - everything else is set to either high or medium - Using the lighting mod - FSR Auto:

Not sure how the pictures will look on other screens, but there it is :steamthumbsup:. Will update if things improve further.

Looks nice, could you please add a small video? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately I can't do that. My YouTube channel is long gone. If I setup up a new channel at any point then sure, but no eta when or if that'll happen.

A few nighttime screen shots and one interior. The AI is still learning, so I'll post more when or if I see more improvements. Settings are the same as previously mentioned:

Recomment, fixed

Last few screenshots for now. I'll eventually make a video and post it on YouTube, but not until the AI has improved my visuals to the best of it's abilities.

As is, visually, the game is looking better and better by the day.

edit:
It'll look even better for the video, because I'll have the enbseries on. For now, it's off so I can take screenshots. As is, I no longer need the enbseries on for the AI to actively make adjustments.

The great part about it though, is no need for max settings or even tracing. I do use traced shadows and local shadows though, but otherwise, mostly everything else is low or medium settings - textures, ambient occlusion, decals, and lod are all at high.

Photorealism Enhancement + RT Shadows, Local Shadows, and Reflections. Enbseries is in the folder as well, but turned off, so it's only passively affecting my visuals.

The AI will continue to learn. I already added a neural network, but also needed a image enhancement network for the AI to work better. So far so good, I have no complaints :steamthumbsup:.

Are you able to turn the photorealism on and off? If so it would be really cool to see a picture of it off and then on so people can see the visual difference side by side.

Still nice to see though.
