Is a no cyberware run doable?
Would I be able to complete a run of the game without equipping nothing but the Kiroshis and the hands cyberware?

i think its pretty doable. not sure if on all difficulties, but on normal definitely. the perks is what gives you the main bonus when it comes to weapons. so depending on your build you can still easily oneshot stuff by the time you are level 20. i actually think this would be a very interesting playthrough.

Yes, it's doable

Yes, but there's no real point other than artificial difficulty... you lose mechanics like double jump and there's no downsides to chroming up, i.e. no cyberpsychosis mechanic.

And theres no real point to not leveling up in souls games yet people still do SL1 runs.

There's no real point in playing a game using a banana as a controller, but people still play games using a banana as a controller.

Only cyberware I tend to use is double jump, which is more for convenience than anything. Everything else, I can't think of a reason why it would be necessary. Depends on your build, too. Tech weapons would be super easy.

Yeah its doable. Not sure why you think otherwise. Bosses are sadly a joke in this and you get/have so many meds at the end your unkillable.

My first playthrough was unarmed with 0 cyberware. Max difficulty. Its beyond doable lol.

Yup, assuming you are still using perks that is quite doable. Slightly annoying due to the lack of jump but using your school issue deck for the whole game can work.

You'd just need to beef up your armor and weapons, as well as build your attributes and perks according to whatever weapons that you want to use.

Definitely doable.

These comments remind me that I never got around to getting one of the leg mods in my first playthrough. (haven't done another real "playthrough" since then, just making characters and seeing how the patches changed things. Been waiting for the DLC to do another full run. Of course, that wait seemed like it would be shorter 1+ years ago. :D )

There is also element of role playing. I am personally extremely sceptical of transhumanism and posthumanist I will morally object to any cybernetics that endanger integrity of my humanity. And I tend to shape my player characters into my own personal ethics. This is way even when I am playing GTA I will play as lawful good as possible, I will stop on red light and obey the traffic rules. And this is the reason I will avoid installing any cyberware into my character even if it makes my game harder.

Good luck with a run where you dont even knock people unconscious, violence is bad.
