Over the edge side quest and the anime show...

Do i have to clear the show first before playing this quest?
Currently just got told to wait 24hour till fixer gave info about david

From what i hear, edgerunners are prequel of 2077's

Does this sidequest spoil the anime's ending or sumthin?
I'm still trying to find time to watch the damn show lol

Doesn't spoil it. Designed to be a teaser for the anime but could argue both ways for doing it before seeing the anime or after. And, yeah, Edgerunners is set in 2076 but it's less a prequel and more 'set in the same place with some shared characters doing cameos'.
