is a 20 in tech worth it?
the only two skills I see that you can get at 20 is the master ability and the 5% extra damage from crafted weapons so is it really worth it or should I only go to 18 and put the two points into body or cool? (I am a weird build, mostly using shotguns but also putting 15 into reflex so I can use a good sandy and stealth never hurts)

Probably gonna want to play more than 1 playthrough so build as you go for first, then check out strict builds for other plays.
Since Edgerunners hit, people have been playing around with builds a bit more in my opinion.
Im almost finished my 6th play, and still more builds to try.
Just have fun with it.

not really, unless you value the sales perk but by then, you could already print money out the wazoo and you already do decent damage to everyone.

Honestly, I'd aim for a lower tech build. I'd say: Body 20, Reflex 16, Tech 14, Cool 18.

14 is a good Tech level that should let you open the majority of doors throughout the game, and lets you craft your own Epic level mods; which are more than good enough. 16 Reflex for the QianT Mk.4, and it lets you run most of the good Assault/Handgun perks, if you want the option.

The combination of 20 body and 18 cool (along with their respective cyberware) makes you almost impossible to kill. They stack tons of defensive bonuses together through Athletics, Ninjutsu and Cold Blood.

With Indestructible, Pain Editor, Pain is an Illusion, and Cheat Death all active, you have 75% damage resistance. Even when your health is depleted, both Biomonitor and Second Heart give you a free revive each.

With 18 points in it you get the vast majority of the good stuff from it.

20 techy is a waist. Absolutely no reason for the last useless perks. 18 is a must if you go for legendary mods and craft... and you should, because it's impossible to find some leg mods for sandy or berserk without craft.

I ran 3 reflex, 20 body, 20 tech, 16 intel and 12 cool on my current playthrough and 20 tech was kinda a waste, I think next playthrough I will do 3 reflex, 20 body, 18 tech, 18 intel and 12 cool
