They've also added some more hairstyles. No new bodyparts yet, but more could come officially and with renewed mod support I'm sure we'll have plenty soon enough.

sweet, my last game was corrupted pretty far in and i really didnt want to start again so ive just been waiting for qol changes and whatnot

You could change your hairstyle if you went up to a mirror, along with makeup and piercings before the ripperdoc body modification was implemented. Any mirror you can interact with, like the one in your apartment.

That is completely untrue and one of the most common complaints.
The mirror was there to look at yourself and change facial expression for some reason.

You could absolutely not change appearance of any kind.
It has only been added recently after the complaints, since they couldn't think for themselves that people may actually want to change hairstyles while playing the game.

Yes, this was implemented in v1.5 that was released in February.

Patch 1.5, released on Feb. 15: "[...] You can now tweak certain features of your appearance (such as hair, makeup, piercing, etc.) when using the mirror in any of your apartments and safehouses. It’s free and you can do it as often as you like. Character customization also includes more makeup and hair color options. Who's the fairest of them all, now?"

So you are in the wrong, actually. So try to look into my claim before you slight the devs.

Was it the case at launch?
No
It took 5 patches to add a simple feature so I will absolute slight the devs

Don't forget there is also transmog to change the way your clothes look.

I would recommend to start new game actualy. Through many updates game changed a lot and old save files works worse than new clear save game. At save from 2021 I got around 15fps less than on new one because old save file loads missing items in new version, like wrong placed stuff and bugs.
