Food, Drink & Alcohol buffs look like another area where they ran out of time, the items are modelled so well but in terms of the benefits: a single identical buff for each category - and a single de-buff for alcohol.
Have sort of been hoping a modder might turn their attention to that and flesh it out a bit more.
Bethesda do a pretty good job of mixing up their buffs for foods etc..
But yeah. While I don't mind a lack of "Penalize the player for not keeping food and drink buffs up" fake depth? It does get very awkward every time even a soda machine just spits out a samey crumpled bag.
Or all the live person food and drink vendors that just open a menu full of the same food items as everywhere else.
May dull them though.
Game still wouldn't be released.
All Alcohol drinks gives:
- 10 % Speed/ + 50 % Accuracy
Thats ... +50% weapon sway, which makes accuracy worse.
It doesn't give +50% accuracy. It actually reduces it.
I feel the devs should at least balance it by giving alcohol drinks a 10% reduced damage taken buff (along with the current debuffs). It would kinda make sense (dulling the pain), and make alcohol somewhat useful at least.
