About Mods
Hello,

I had CyberPunk 2077 on PS4 and decided to buy it on Steam now I have a brand new PC Gamer and I was wondering what mods work with the new version of Cyberpunk?

I almost never download and install mods but for me, V's customization is not very sufficient when creating our character, so if there are some cool new designs, hair, tattoos, etc, I'm interested in taking a look.

Look for mods with the RedMod option and try to use them exclusively. You can still use mods via Vortex however, if they haven't been upgraded. There are simply too many to recommend...I tend to be pretty conservative about adding mods, since I don't want to change the basic game too much. I'd advise you to only add one mod at a time, so if something goes wrong, you know what to roll back. Finally, read the install instructions until you understand them. It's easy to get it wrong [and sometimes those instructions are pretty vague, or aimed at people who already know the process well...]. Also, be aware that the automatic install process sometimes goes wrong and you have to know how to sort things out...

I'd recommend getting Reshade if you want your game to look amazing. Aside from that, here's some of my other favorites/must-haves (if it were me!)

Edit: I use Nexus Mods (not Vortex though as Vortex can cause headaches). You should be able to find all these quite easily by visiting the site and searching in the Cyberpunk 2077 section.

-Player Underwear Removal Extended CET
-Vehicle Customizer
-Simple Flashlight
-Reshade 5.4.2
-VirtualAtelier + Clothing Stores like "Clothing Store for better clothes" and "Adult Store". You can add Packs like"All new clothes pack", "New Lingerie", "Alt Adult Equipment" which can show up in said stores to buy in-game. There's lots!
-Armor Adjuster (so you can tinker with values for your modded clothes)
-Weather Probability Rebalance
-NPC's gone wild
-Player Body Mod Pack (adds more curves and realistic body types to V's)
Mods like "Player Body Mod" have a slew of other mods needed to work, so be aware of that and download those as well. These should be mods like "Load Order Fixer", "Cybercmd", "Redscript", "High Poly Body", "Native UI Settings" and "Cyber Engine Tweaks aka CET".

It's pretty easy to add mods using CET/Redscript. Once you get those, all you do is extract files and drop them into your Cyberpunk directory. Takes less than 30 seconds to install most mods. Redmod is becoming more popular and is a bit more friendly for new modders. Lot of the mods I listed work with Redmod.

All Redmod does is puts the mod folder front and center in the Cyberpunk directory so it's easy to find and allows you to toggle mods off/on from the launcher. That's literally it so don't be scared off from mods that don't use Redmod, there's so many awesome ones to try.

Word of wisdom too. Most graphical mods will NOT break when patches roll out or need updates. Be weary of mods that change gameplay functions, so things that adjust car handlings or change xp or currency or quest, those will and can break when the game is patched and will require modders to update them. Most graphic mods are safe, so like Reshade, Clothing mods, body mods, those are all pretty solid. If you do get mods that change core functions or gameplay, would be wise to write them down and be prepared for them to break when patches roll out. As you can see, it's why I don't use any and don't recommend any but there's some really neat ones out there to try if you want!

Game is like 5/10 without mods. With mods, it's easily a 9/10. Especially Reshade. I was using a 4K textures mod before Reshade but after Reshade, I ditched it. Reshade really makes everything look like a next gen game.

Thank you guys. I'll try to give them a try. I like the base game but I'd love to add some mods once I'll finish the game on PC (I almost finished it on PS4 but I had no time to play and the graphics were so-so with almost nobody in the streets) I'm glad I bought the PC version.
