The PC you're talking about is the one from the Gig "Hacking the hacker" given by Muamar Reyes.

It has nothing to do with the secret, sorry.

Outside the game the hex number could be seen as half of a MAC address. Since the first half of a MAC address is a fixed OUI (Organizationally Unique Identifier, basically a manufacturer code) it would have to be the last three numbers. No way in hell am I going to go through every OUI looking for a matching address, but hey, fill your boots.
Converting it from hex to ascii gets "ÿµ". 06 is invalid in most modern ascii usage so it just shows up as a blank square or as a square with the number "0006" in it depending on the application, but originally back in the 60's it was used for a networking "acknowledged" signal, or "ACK". Probably not useful in this case, but worth noting.
In UTF-8 it comes out to "46 46 3A 30 36 3A 42 35", although I should point out that is with the : added in. If you want just the numbers take the two 3A's out.
In simpler math, adding the numbers together gets 442. Subtracting gets 68. Multiplying the numbers together gets 276,930. Division gets a less than 1 value with more decimal points than I'm willing to count, so that's probably not useful.
In the game the only thing I can think of the raw hex might be used for is hacking a node. Pretty sure those puzzles are randomly generated at least to some extent, especially since there are skills that change the difficulty, but maybe you can enter that particular combination somewhere?
