Eye implants benefit Tech weapons?

I only just noticed this that some eye implants connect directly to tech weapons. I am just wondering if there is any noticeable benefit as I don't think I've noticed any myself. Thank you.,

The tech enabled variants (The Oracle and Stalker, IIRC) let you see enemies behind walls and other obstacles. Makes them easier to engage with your tech weapons.
