"These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" Broken quest from new patch

As title says. You go to the garbage dump and the quest can't progess as your car is invisible. Have tried reloading previous saves and verifying game cache and it is still the same.

was broken in 1.2 as well, still haven't done it. I've just loaded up just before the last steps of the quest everytime. Think I can say no factor comes into play, the car is still invisible

It must have worked in 1.0 and 1.1, since I don't see much posted on the subject

Well It's a minor side quest, it's just annoying. Can imagine problems the console players though, if they need to everything to get platinum or what's called now

The work around for this one, and one of the other ride gigs is that you have to do them the moment they appear on the map. If you wait the cars will despawn.

I completed this mission on my playthrough by doing it the moment it appeared, but the one ride you find at the film set that got massacred didn't spawn when I showed up.

It apparently has something to do with the ride markers getting updated despawning the rides.

And now it comes with bonus, you cant switch car view if try to take car.
