Impossible to kill Adam Smasher with netrunner build on Very Hard?
Huge resists to quickhacks, blinks, both melee and range attacks, death from several strikes, even "Second heart" not helping, often i don't able to get controls after it ressurects me, cause i'm being killed too fast. So why Smasher so hard only for netrunner builds while with berserk module you can just activate berserk and easily LKM him till victory? Also old fast killing from behind in stealth is not working. Very weird balance.

Use charged jumps, double jumps, air dashes, dashes, etc, to maintain your distance. And use 3x cyberware malfunction + 1x shortcircuit to explode his weakpoint (might need the relic ability to reveal weakpoints, not sure).

This is why I always suggest at least 15 body and Adrenaline Rush for Very Hard.

You can still do the stealth takedowns, you will need to the Optical Camo and Relic upgrade.

The killer quickhack agains Smasher is Cyberware Malfunction, or at least it used to be. I haven't fought him since 2.0, maybe they nerfed it, but so far this quickhack stripped him instantly off 40%. Smasher is almost completely artificial, so neutralising his cyberware is obviously helpful. Also, Detonate Granate could help, I think he carries a lot of explosives.

Not sure Detonate Grenade would be worth it at the highly elevated cost. Might be fun though.

all the bosses are beatable by multiple " style " of combat.................you just need to learn how to do it.

Yep, thanks guys, found way to kill him via grenade and malfunction.

Had a netrunner build and killed him, somehow.
If I remember correctly, there are specific hacks that trigger his "self-defense hack", and there is a hack you can use to damage him without triggering it. The idea is - throw everything at him, let him hack you back while keeping your distance and waiting for RAM stop being blocked and let it regenerate.

I've finished the game without using grenades, or any weapons. Just netrunner hacks.

There are turrets on the ground you can "make friendly". It bugs Adam Smasher out, making him waste lots of time trying to kill them, though they don't even shoot him.

He's doable as a pure netrunner. I think cyberware malfuncation x3 + short circuit do good damage to him, as does synapse burnout. However, it's a very boring run when you have to keep waiting for RAM to refill when your overclock is down. Try a smart gun build instead. There's one deck that gives 60% dmg boost to smart guns when overclock is active. It's a much more engaging playstyle.

Does the system collapse quickhack work?

Not really, and it takes too much RAM. Synapse Burnout works quite well, but using Detonate Grenade is absolutely vital, it strips 30% off Smasher instantly.

Yes, and if I remember it correctly - it is the hack that prevents him from hacking you back(or does it just stop the hack progress? Can't remember).

I didn't like the damage, and just went on burn+shock+(something else spree, can't remember what), then let him hack me, while doing circles around the room, waiting for the RAM to start regenerating again.
