Ultimate Edition removed?

Umm does anyone know why the ultimate edition bundle was removed? Was this communicated at any point by the publisher that this was going to happen?
I don’t remember something like this ever happening to any game… if anything, complete/ultimate/goty editions get published as the years go by, not removed.

The Ultimate Edition is only available at CDPR's GOG shop right now (currently on sale too). But I'm clueless as to why it's not on Steam.

CDPR owns Gog and would have to split the money with steam if they offered the same deal.

It was delisted for one day back in early May 2024 before being reinstated. We have no reason believe this time will be any different as of the time of writing this post.

Why was it delisted?

I dunno. Maintenance. Unintentional human error. Bug. Internal company politics. Laws and regulations. Steam ToS. Throw a dart on the board and see where it lands; your guess is as good as mine.

Of course they have the right, but it’s still unusual and limits the options on which store to buy it from if someone has a preference, so not very consumer friendly.

Also, it looks like they haven’t done this with the Witcher 3. Both the base version and the complete edition are still offered on steam. Why do this just for Cyberpunk?

Again, we don’t know. The bundle has been delisted before and reinstated. This time shouldn’t be any different.

If you’re that desperate for an answer, send a ticket to their customer support. Who knows, your ticket might just be the catalyst to get them to fix it (assuming it is an error and not just maintenance or something).
