[Mod Question] UV Framework function
I'm currently redoing my Cyberpunk mod list and porting everything over to MO2. Game version 2.12. In between texture overhauls, bug fixes and a couple of extra gameplay and qol features, no issues so far.
Now for my next playthrough I was thinking about making V a bit more... unique, and the only way this works is to use a framework, either UV Framework or VTK, as far as I understand, even though I'm only interested in textures, not a new body.
So how does this work, exactly? Install UV Framework, then install a bunch over textures that get read by UVF. This will basically create a new base model for V which then gets the base customization options when starting a new game?
The description mentions in which order files are read - aside from alphanumerical order CP2077 doesn't have something like a dedicated load order, does it?
Do I need anything else besides the framework and the textures? Can it work with a vanilla body? Not too keen on looking up a bunch of clothing mods just to fix clipping with a new body.

You'll see some related mods with things like 00 or ## as a file prefix...these are load order arguments too. It's possible you might have to tweak these to get the mods you want to load correctly, but the mods will generally have instructions for that.

If you use the vanilla UV framework, you should have no problems with clothes clipping. That will usually only happen with the more...exceptional body shapes. However in a lot of cases, modders have supplied clothing mods that will work with those shapes...again, read the instructions.
Hey, thanks for the answer!
I have shifted over my installation to MO2 for easier mod maintaining since this thread was posted, and have been playing with VTK instead of UVF without issues. :)
