ITS SAYS ON DOOR 4/12 Force open
That means you have 4 points in Body attribute, and you would need 12 to force said door open. Cannot do it.
so i need 12 POINTS in Body attribute ?
Yes.
Gorilla arms adds +4 to Body checks, with those you would need 8 points for this particular door.
FYI, if you cannot force or hack a door somewhere, there's almost always another way in (unless it's a "loot room" door in which case SoL). Being unable to open a specific door NEVER stops progression. Find a different solution to what ever it is you are doing.
OK 👍
Makes actually more sense.
An option indeed.
But that's just skipping progression (Am I strong/smart enough to do this?), but if you want to be all-powerful from the get go you can mod it.
I never liked the progression/min-max in Cyberpunk.
V is a freaking weakling and overpowered by all " T-shirt and pants with mini pistol" enemies and suddenly becomes an unkillable god around level 30 and more.
This never made sense to me especially when hypersonic bullets shot at you by hundreds, do not kill you.
That's why I play with Hardcore 44 and PED damage overhaul that cranks up the damage realism ( 1 headshot = 1 kill, 3-4 bullets = dead, 1 grenade = dead).
Your cyberware upgrade at high levels can make you survive later on around 5 - 10 seconds but not more.
And this realism logic follows also cyberware. Gorilla arms are not your typical "arms" they are made to prey open doors/ lift heavy objects etc....
You have them but can't open a freaking wooden door with them..........because 5/6 force check LOL
Then it might also be worth mentioning the 'Missing Persons - Fixer's Hidden Gems' mod as well, since it's a great mod to have anyway, and it also comes with an option in the settings to bypass all skill checks.
Some of those hidden gems are locked behind skill 20 doors in body or tech, so need that to collect all anyway, or check the bypass option.
I have 20 in both skills, so I don't need to enable it, but as mentioned, it's nice to have the OPTION!

And for the DLC:

Exactly this.
It's a single-player RPG. Don't need to be limited by the game design, mod it to your preference and play it how ever the heck you want.
