Night City map isn't even that big, change my mind.
If you picture centre point of the city there is not much you can explore to the left or right. The city isn't even that wide. Right of downtown you have small japan town and right after that is already wasteland. And from the top view it doesn't look that big. For those who say its more vertical than horizontal well let me tell you that there isn't that many interesting places that you can climb to. The majority of interactive things are located on bottom level of the city and you almost never have to go up.

How should it be? Slow toxicity killing when walking too far away. 4 elements of avatar in each direction or plot narrowed into a small town like the nomad lifepath and night city is just that place in the distant you try to reach.

The lifepaths are such tiny part of the plot that the game itself is a cement desert and the amount of time taken to reach from one block to another without any interaction is staggering low.

To ensure you won't reach the end of the map by the beginning you are stuck inside a rookie island. The enemies are weak , the gear is; the more iconic or legendary the further up in level you need to be when picking it up to gain modules. The level up itself doesn't work and is an illusion of choice.

I first thought , maybe they had some thought behind street cred vs level cred; that the more you kill the harder it gets and the more street cred the more tech unlocked. But the thing is the lower you are in level the worse are the items you unlock. Which makes street cred useless. The concept stupid. Unlock this map maybe for x street cred. Unlock this gear at street cred. People won't shoot at you with street cred. With higher street cred not even enemies want to start fights unless standing x meters and etc.

You know why gorilla arms had the ability to unlock doors? Street cred.

Look at all that convincing evidence.. Guess it's small then. Also, chopped up with sections missing, like at 30:29 here.. https://youtu.be/omyoJ7onNrg

well GTA5 is 48sq/km in size.

2077 is roughly 90-110sq/km (the city itself is probably around 50)
witcher 3 is around 130sq/km

its decent.

That data reeks of fake tbh, where'd you even get that info?

How big is it supposed to be?

So fishy the developer keeps deleting it without a word whenever I point it out in the actual thread IT BELONGS IN.

The game is already empty anyway. Imagine if the map was bigger...

Anyone know of a mod that shows and names all of the interesting places in Night City? Places only show up on the map when you have an open quest for that location. However, not every location has a quest. Also would be nice to see the ripperdoc's name on their service point. Seems like the map was left incomplete.

Make up your own mind sheeple.
