Vik tell you to keep the money but still he take them
This is the debt you'll never be able to pay back
He looks like the Johnny Mnemonic doctor actor who helps Keanu Reeves. Which is an intentional easter egg/reference.
Oh... and OP clearly skips dialog. Because Victor and V clearly have an outstanding tab for previous "I'll pay you later!" gigs. Which is kind of ironic given how Jackie managed to convince him to buy a terrible, brand new car.
Not all ripper doc work is cyberware implants.
Since the game has much less content than originally intended, they had to rely on a lot of exposition and hamfisted memories instead of you playing it.
And since the early stages are the ones they completely ripped out of the game, you'd probably had a bigger tab with him than that.
Never paid him tho. What's he gonna do? Imma shred him.
I actually like Victor, but they only show the animation of putting in cyberwares in the beginning (once), like most things. Then it's just like a wall of text and icons.
But sure, there could have been a tab from earlier, which is most likely, but then again, they cut out the story so you don't really know anything or anyone...
And nothing if forcing you to repay him, as far as I know. Though I've always ended up paying him back. Given some of the story elements surrounding him.
