Custom Music in Radio
Does anyone know where's the directory of the music's folder? There are some radios that I think are ♥♥♥♥ and it would be great to change the music files to my own. I mean, I don't think CDPR would implement a "custom channel" as Rockstar did, so I think the only way to hear our music is by trading the files and changing the name.

I get by with just playing my media player and turning the music slider to 0.

Granted this affects Television stuffs and I am wondering some dialogue (I have had silence from Wakado and Delamain at times that I hypothesize were misconfigured as the wrong audio type.)

I thought so, I think we need to swap the files and change the name, which isn't that hard to do, since I do this with almost all games that I don't like the OST.

Looks like the music or Audio are packed in Archives. Likely you would have to figure format, Unpack and replace and repack.

I mean, how many possible audio formats can there be (you have to do the incredulous voice with this statement).

Answer: A whole #($*ing lot. Thats how many.
Turn the radio off and enjoy the roar of the Type-66 engine

the files are single asset files which would be pretty difficult to change, to say the least.

audio_1_general.archive 185mb
audio_2_soundbanks.archive 5gb

the 185mb one might be the music one, but i can't say for sure. you'd need something that can extract them and then have the game read the altered files.

As serious points out, the music and audio in general is kept in large archive files. (like in most games)

So there's no folder to just put music files in...at least not yet. This might be possible at some point when modding tools come out, or the Witcher 3 modders adapt tools to read and write to archive and be able to interact with scripting.

I think the music one is the 5Gb. I have some ideas how to extract this files to something that I can use, maybe zip would help me out with this, I will have to take a look.

If I do some ♥♥♥♥ I can simply delete the files and ask to Steam to verify my cache integrity, Steam will scan for missing/corrupt files and folders, and then auto-download them for me, so I'm safe.

This game isn't protected by VAC Shield, which means I have no problem in MODding or hacking it out like this.

you'd still need to repack the new files into the same .archive file.

unless the engine reads loose files in that directory.

Found it, it's .archive, which requires some MOD to open, and luckily for me, I found this:
https://forums.cdprojektred.com/index.php?threads/cp77-community-first-modding-tools.11040380/
With this I can open and extract the files from .archive, and then add what I want inside of it.

Just a spitball no knowledge guess.....
Save backup of above files,then.......
Then open those files with hex editor and search for the song name, music file type...... Then if found. Replace...... Put modded file in place.... Work yes? Good.... Work no? Cut modded file and replace with backup..... Now go for it!! lol
