Because real life added a bunch of camel toes. Seems like a trend increasing on social media, women wearing the tightest possible clothing and basically making sure that certain features are well defined through their clothing. Apps like Tik Tok promote it because the users get paid, the pervs get what they want, etc.

So if you keep following that trend eventually it'll be odd if you don't see someone's junk thru their clothing.

I haven't either, sounds like some unsubstantiated nonsense, especially in light of cdpr going puritan right after launch and ninja patching player nudity out of the game. I'd think they'd take the same stance as far as this supposed camel toe and not be so overt. I've seen npcs in game wearing rather revealing and tight clothing but nothing like this. Not like say Edi from mass effect 3

There was NPC nudity at initial launch as well. That and the player nudity in game were secretly patched. I remember some of the outfits that now look like they have skin tight underwear underneath were actually nude underneath and you could see more.

My clothing sometimes glitched and my V was completely nude(without underwear, which is normally there) for a second when looking in the mirror.

atmosphere. Try to think about what kind of place Night City is. There is a lot of vice going on here, drugs, crime, sex, there are giant bilboard adverts on skyscrapers around town. It can be dark, dank, but also pretty, and with the corpos basically ruining the world here, people get more desperate for some kind of relief.

Yes, you can definitely say "sex sells" to explain simply that's why they put it in, but it also works both ways. In game, and real life.

As I said, its part of the NC atmosphere.
