Ricochet on power weapons.....

Considering half the game your trying not to hit civilians, and ricochets really hurt that idea.
The fact that it's not something you will really use on purpose even with the optics.
The fact that you don't really miss it when it's gone...

I actually have a smart mod on my hands to turn the feature off while using power weapons,
I highly recommend it lol, plus it means you "can" use a smart weapon as a side arm if ya want to.
win win I say.

Only thing I found the ricochet mechanic useful with was shotguns. Hitting the ground in front of the enemy is just free bonus damage with no chance of missing or civilian hits.
Other than that it's not worth using and even with shotguns it's a bit situational.

My smart SMG and mantis blades make no distinction between civies and thugs, it's all meat, lol.

Main issue with Ricochet in this game is that smart and tech weapons exist. The whole point of a ricochet should be to hit someone behind cover. But homing and penetrating projectiles are way easier and more reliable.

They should scrap ricochet on power weapons. Just make power weapons the strongest outright, but have them lack the utility and ease of use of tech and smart weapons.

I forgot ricochet was a feature until now. And i use a power pistol quite regularly. Shows you how useful i thought it was.
