skippy. how?

i can hold about a thousand rounds of pistol ammo, and I have emptied them about 4 times now. it takes about 15 bullets to kill a guy, so I have killed about some where around 250 npcs by now, but the skippy quest is still no triggering.

is this a flapping joke? at least give me the option to store this piece of crap gun. nobody likes this gun.

i just kept on killing cops. if i weren't a cyberpsycho before i am definitely a cyberpsycho now.

I think it only counts "real enemies"
otherwise I would have got the 50 kills a lot and I mean A LOT sooner xd
keep do gigs and (side)missions with skippy and you got the 2x 50 quick.

At first it does not count to kill any kind of NPC it must be a real enemy like maelstrom or those you can find at any NCPD side Mission. Next thing is it seems you have to use Skippys Auto Focus/Aim ability based on it's weapon specification as well otherwise the process takes longer for me too.

I don't think it has to be real enemies. I usually go to a busy place like corpo plaza and start killing civilians and cops. And after a while it always triggers

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate that quest. The talking gun and stuff is fun, but it's one of the worst weapons in the entire game AND you have to use it a ton for the quest to progress.

It's just bad and not fun design.

You have to raise your Intelligence Attribute and apply some Perks to make Smart weapons really effective. Picking up Skippy too early in the game is somewhat counterproductive.

it is a gun that repeats the same stupid line over and over when it forces you to kill 100 while being one of the worst gun in the game. if you are one of the people that enjoys it. good for you, but don't drag other people into your category.

Can you switch hands with weapons,i'm a southpaw when it comes to shooting guns in game and in irl, mind you i haven't done that in a long time irl.
