how to remove the sight of the Lexington X mod 2???

just beat the shooting range mini game and got the lexington mod 2 and is a massive upgrade to the dying light but it has this massive chunky sight that just looks so wrong on it and i cant figure out how to remove it as it doesnt correlate to a sight mod slot

Its a unique gun and that sight cannot be removed or changed.
