How well will my game run?
I'm thinking of buying this game when it goes on sale, and I'm wondering how well my game will run in 1440p ultra wide (3440x1440).
My specs are:
rtx 3060 12gb
i7 8700k
32gb ram

As long as you avoid ray tracing and path tracing, I'm pretty sure you can run the game on at least 60 fps and at decently high graphic settings. Make sure to watch YouTube optimized graphic settings guides to get the most visuals out of the game while not sacrificing performance.

Edit: Oh, and make sure to use dlss.

I recommend watching Hardware Unboxed's best settings to change on pc video.

Thanks for the response. I heard about mods for cyberpunk that add fsr 3, and I also would like to know how my system would handle the game with fsr 3 (because I don't have dlss 3 due to nvidia being a terrible company and restricting it to 40 series cards only)

I think 1440p ultrawide is too much for your gpu, even with dlss. You will not hit 60 fps. Try to run on normal settings and dlss balanced or lower.

It's a misconception that dlss 3 doesn't work on 30 series cards. It does. However, the frame generation feature of dlss 3 only works with 40 series. You still get the other benefits of latest dlss update. For me, I have an rtx 3080 and the dlss in this game is extremely good. I'm able to hit at least 60 fps with max setting, ultra raytracing, and auto dlss (no path tracing). This is without me being able to use frame generation.

Misconception. Ultrawide does not necessarily feature a linear progression of performance lost in comparison to 16:9 monitors. When I got my ultrawide, I was pleasantly surprised at how close my games ran to what they were on my old 16:9.

However, going to 4k is another story altogether. 1440p 16:9 to 1440p ultrawide does not exhibit a major performance cost though. There's articles on this.

60 fps is probably not possible without frame gen

if it was regular 1440p then maybe, but ultra wide? definitely no

1050TI can run it fine

ray tracing, no problem, pathtracing you need 40-series.
also a low end 30-series is not fit for 4k. so people trying that have ofcourse problems.
I have R9 5900 + rtx3070
and I run everything on ultra in 1440p
ray tracing is also on ultra (psycho is a bit too much)
dlss is a must ( I have it on auto)
the thing is to not have lag is to not try pathtracing cause you need a 40** for that.
and also put nvidia low latency OFF (this setting is the most lag giving of all settings available in cyberpunk for me if I set it on or on with boost it unplayable, but on OFF it goes smooth as babybutt)

With everything turned low, or off, and no higher than 1920x1080. Probably still get bits that drop below 60fps even then...

People will play in 27 fps and call it fine

I have a 2070 Super, I7 and 32gb Ram. The game runs great for me, no drops, and I have pretty much everything turned up to high. Game looks great and is smooth.
