The Porsche it garbage

It looks great but I dunno what's the sense of buying it besides an easter egg and a small side quest because you can get the Type 66 Hoon or whatever it is called after the game's prologue in an abandoned airfield (found in the beginning while doing Claire's races because I wanted to do side quests first) and it is faster and controls better

Many of the cars on offer in the game are not that great. Personally, I like the Porsche Cabriolet specifically because its an open-top car...there are not enough fun convertibles in the game. But style is important in Night City, no? Johnny's Porsche is mainly useful for impressing Rogue when V/Johnny takes her on their 'date'. Otherwise it's as pokey as you would expect a vintage sports car to be.

Johnny's old Porsche didn't used to be pokey. Before the nerfed it, it was wild and untamable... a bit like Johnny. 😏

I guess if you want to take Rogue on a date, you (or Johnny) have to talk to her. Sounds to me like you have missed a big chunk of the main story...
