Game crashes everytime I try to run it
Cannot launch or play the game without crashing, when i load in game freezes my whole pc and i cannot do anything other than holding down the power button to shut down, or when i press continue same thing happens. happens along side static audio with the freezing of the game. I have reinstalled GPU using DDU, I have done a clean wipe of the game from game directory and reinstalled the game from all the files here
Cyberpunk 2077 folder from here: ...\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 folder from here: %userprofile%\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\
REDEngine folder from here: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\
CD Projekt Red folder from here: %userprofile%\AppData\Local
CD Projekt RED folder from here: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Programs
As well as running the integrity of the game files on steam, and deleting user settings in game directory. I have over 300 hours on this game, everything has ran perfectly fine up until recently when i booted up the game for the first time in a while.
I have stress tested with OCCT with no issues, I have no issues with any other game I have played other AAA titles. there are also instances where the game can run, but after playing for a bit ive noticed that if i have to load a save file up to the 5th time the game freezes. Turning off game overlays seem to have no effect. Cyberpunk support hasn't gotten back to me and its been around a week.

Can anyone help me with this and find a solution? I've run out of ideas on what to do

EDIT: I just booted up the game with the same bit of freezing to launch, but I was able to load in. But I was stuck at around 4fps in game when I switched to the lowest graphics, but when I pressed ESC I was at 360 fps. My game is usually at 90-120 fps. Seems to me like there is some sort of issue with graphics that is causing my game to crash?

EDIT 2: I have been able to consistently play the game with no issues, but they persist after I close the game and want to replay, in which I then have to restart my computer via power button because of a frozen PC. This has caused me to keep the game running for well over 5-6 hours if I want to play, because during these sessions there are no problems. But when I want to boot it up in a different time the game will freeze my whole PC

I can't run the game at all now without signs of freezing when booting up and then completely freezing when I try to load a save

Same issue here :( was working great for 2 hours today then crashed and was unable to ESC or CTRL+ALT+DEL to shut down game safely - had to hold down my PC power button. I tried to start Cyberpunk twice after this and the same thing happened both times

Can't launch the game anymore here. Steam briefly says it's running, but then it just doesn't do anything and the button goes back to "play." Was running fine a couple of days ago.

Hmm... Did your Windows update to 24H2 or did it push any updates?
The game hasn't received an update for a while now.

seems something changed, look at my hours, obviously been able to play fine... but we're back insta-flatline things... get that lovely logo splash graphic, get the bird cdpr logo, and that's that choom, flatline. I've wiped everything, no saves no mods no configs, just does not want to behave. tried rolling back not one but 4 different video drivers now, stripping registry so no leftovers each time, and no change. looked at cpu microcode updates even, because something sure as hell is causing it.

I'm sure it'll be solved, but I just went though this headache getting 2.13 going, when 2.11 was rock solid and could play 24/7 just minimize the game and leave, come back later and resume, no memory leaks, no overheating or wasting electricity cause it went to low-priority and even let the machine sleep when in the background, it just worked... and now it's just not working.

it's kind of an annoying headscratcher, honestly. there's no reason it shouldn't run. but it won't. maybe it's the new steam runtimes, they seem to update a lot since they rolled out the game recording, maybe it's the way the hooking for the overlay for that happens, no idea. seems it might be outside our control, though. I'm running out of ideas other than force-downgrading, which doesn't interest me. I'll keep trying, because I like a challenge, but it might involve just waiting. time will tell. :-/
