The game hasn't received an update for a while now.
yes I am on 24H2 Windows and have been since October 10th, does that change anything?
I'm sure it'll be solved, but I just went though this headache getting 2.13 going, when 2.11 was rock solid and could play 24/7 just minimize the game and leave, come back later and resume, no memory leaks, no overheating or wasting electricity cause it went to low-priority and even let the machine sleep when in the background, it just worked... and now it's just not working.
it's kind of an annoying headscratcher, honestly. there's no reason it shouldn't run. but it won't. maybe it's the new steam runtimes, they seem to update a lot since they rolled out the game recording, maybe it's the way the hooking for the overlay for that happens, no idea. seems it might be outside our control, though. I'm running out of ideas other than force-downgrading, which doesn't interest me. I'll keep trying, because I like a challenge, but it might involve just waiting. time will tell. :-/
