Are these safe Hotspot temps for running this game near max?
Got a new rig, cpu temps are in perfect order, even better than I expected, and my GPU normal temps are around 60-65 where its highest peak after 11 hours was 67.9.

Im just seeing higher than normal Hot Spot temps vs other games but havent pushed it this far. Ive seen it hit 91c at the absolute highest(for about a second) The hotspot tends to be around 75-86, usually 80C, it does average lower but thats because in menus/map/load the temps drop like 20c on both current temp and hotspot.

You can see how the average Hotspot is way lower, but like I said, any menuing/map/load kinda decieves how it is while actually playing?

This all good? The actual GPU temp hasnt even hit like 70c, Just curious about the Hot Spot.

The averages are the far most right. The constant are the first. Middle is the peak.

thanks, that spike happened only once, its averages honestly around 80. Good to know, maybe ill clean my fans just to be safe.

Could I ask which monitoring program this is, please?

I also got a new rig recently, with a 4080 Super, ASUS card. I'm using the monitoring feature of GPU Tweak III from ASUS.

When I've played CP77 it shows that the max GPU temperature has been 70 degrees C during the session, but there is no graph or history for 'Hot Spot Temperature' as far as I can see, so it made me a bit curious.

I play with max settings, path tracing and frame generation at 1440p, if that is relevant for comparison purposes.

HWinfo64 its amazing. Shows current, highest peak, average. When it first asks on launch, just run Sensors only, the other stuff isnt really needed, same with basically everything in your computer, temps, volts, etc... even hardware errors.

Many thanks! I see NASA is using it, so it should certainly be good enough for me :lunar2019grinningpig::104:

Hotspot delta should be around 20C or less from the edge temp. If the hotspot shoots up to 95-100C instantly under load, you have poor contact with the cooler.

its not staying there, and its not instant exactly underload, its the 91c is the hottest peak its seeing in the hotspot for tiniest microsecond, the average is around 75-85c. I get no stutters or issues.

Underload its actually 20c or less normally.

Also just took a peak inside, its in due for a cleaning(there is absolutely dust), that might be pushing it a bit higher than it should. Not sure what cooler you mean, its the GPU, its just using its own ♥♥♥♥ and fans, and ive heard to never dissemble GPUs. My CPU cooling is all fine and even lower than I expect.
