DRM Free

I know this game, even on Steam, can be played directly on Windows without any kind of DRM, but idk how to do it. I also inow the GOG store offers this in a more sinple and direct way, but I'd like to purchase this on Steam. Can somebody help me figure this out? Thanks

Just link your steam account to your gog account and use gog to download the game and run it form there, it will launch the gog version and be drm free.

Didn't know I could play my steam games through gog that is amazing

on your steam library right click on cyberpunk 2077 click manage then click "browse local files"

from the game install location folder if you run the game directly from the exe and not the launcher it will bypass steams DRM (playing the game this way will not earn you any steam achievements)

like the user above said you can also link to GoG and run it on there as well

Can I download the installer from gog this way?

Just launch the game through the .exe file and not Steam. Can’t get achievements this way (or use any Steam game features) but you’ll be playing DRM free.

Yeah that works coz it’s DRM free. I know some people have copied and pasted their entire modded game files to another drive to avoid game updates breaking their mod setups.
