Biomonitor not working with adrenaline rush mode?

Hi,
the Biomonitor was working fine for me all along, i.e. it would automatically help me use the health item when my health goes below 50%. But lately, I unlocked adrenaline rush mode, then I am actually dying, as the biomonitor no longer automatically use my health item (even when I have 2 charges of the health item left). This is only when I am getting shot at. If I am in overclock mode, it works fine and would heal me.

Does anyone else have this issue?
