What are your GPU temps when playing?
I have been playing with everything on MAX with raytracing disabled and I usually get 80º celsius playing at 1080p on a RTX 3070, it is the higher temps that I have seen so far compared with other games that I have played.

Is it normal?

Nonesense. It is equal or less. Depends on the manufacturer. Never you get more from it. Otherwise manufacturer would ship their cards undervolted.:steammocking:

They ship the graphics cards based on what they consider a stable voltage that every card should run at with out running in to stability issues, but most cards can actually run lower than that, which gives you more headroom before it starts to thermal throttle letting the GPU core boost higher.
Correct, it will run more stable, but you don't get a better performance. Someone else mentioned that already.

With a 3070? Yeah, right... Unhelpful.

While 80 is not a temperature to be concerned about, it indeed appears to be on the higher end for a 3070 at 1080. However, this does not have to be caused by your GPU itself. Have you excluded other root causes such as dusty fans or bad rig location without proper airflow?

Oh, and since you mentioned that other games do not trigger such temperatures, you should compare Cyberpunk with the likes of AC Valhalla or AC Odyssey on high settings. Cyberpunk is demanding.

OK might only be around 2-4% faster just from doing a -60mv UV reducing it from the stock 1050mv to 990mv and not touching any other settings and still running within the stock 255w power limit, not much I know but pretty sure that counts a performance increase....

I9-13900KF, 4090.

Max settings with DLSS quality and 100fps cap... low 70s in the summer heat. That is good in my book.

I have a question:

For Cyberpunk, is it normal to have higher temperatures on the CPU side rather than on the GPU one.
I have around 78-83° for the CPU and 65- 75° for the GPU ( these are no normal temperatures I get because my region is under a heat wave actually. So I have around 10 additionnal degrees, even with fresh air coming into my room).

I read that CP 2077 is as demanding on the CPU as the GPU side but one of both must still be more hungry than the other one right ?

I cap my game at 60 FPS, I don't use any "boosters" like RT/PT mods or Framegen mods.
I play maxed out with reshade and lut except for the following very fps hungry options (shadows: low/medium, SSR: off, Volumetric/smoke effects: low, population: medium).

Ray tracing high with 7950X3D and Strix 4070Ti, I hit 100-110 without DLSS, and 165-170 with.

Under 90c is normal for a demanding game.

Electronic is designed to work at 100 but you will reduce lifespan.

CPU around 75°C, GPU around 70.
Game is badly optimized regarding CPU. Cyberpunk is the only game that CPU bottleneck me with crowd density to medium :

When you see all far car lights disappearing in background, you know this game isn't great with distances...

People have too much hope in UE5. Even CDPR said they have issues for Witcher4.
Matrix awakens had drops to 22fps on console...

4070 ti, mine sits between 60-70 C under load; playing with settings set to ultra and 1440p resolution. can also handle most places with the Ray Tracing: Ultra or Overdrive and doesn't get that much hotter with it on, but there are sometimes noticeable dips in FPS depending on the area.

3080ti sits at 55c 1440p locked to 60fps no RT, 5800x @ 5.1/4.8 allcore.
repaste ya card!

I literally can't play this game in summer or I'll get cooked.

I get about 60-65°C on a 4060Ti. Everything set to ultra, RT on, DLSS quality, FG off.
When playing without DLSS, temps increase to 73°C

3090 everything maxed 1440p 78c-81c depends on the area and what’s going on
