Cant skip Dialogues anymore

im unable to skip Dialogues anymore.

Saving during a Dialogue and Reloading the Save didnt work for me.
Changing the Keybind also didnt work.

I tried several things mentioned in differend forums but nothing worked for me

Which dialogue are you on at this point? And have you tried loading an older save file to see if you can skip different dialogues?

I can't skip the meditation BD dialogues with the mystery monk found in various locations, the game just won't allow it at times.

With the oldest Save File which is available, it does not work either.

Im ~60 hours in the game with the Panam and Judy Questline now finished, but a lot of side content too

Have you tried quicksaving during a convo with somebody else and reloading?

I know this sounds weird now, but have you tried randomly pushing buttons including the space bar, normally it should show up in the lower right corner which button makes you able to skip the dialogues.

And I have to ask have you changed the key layout for the game?

In worst case I'd restore all the keybindings and try using the default layout, the button should normally be "Y", oh and if you have other language packs installed on your pc you might wanna look out for that too, since I know for sure german players have "Y" and "Z" exchanged at times probably due to using shift + tab.

And the last thing I can think of might be Keyboard software. If you have something like a Wooting or Razer and so on try to reset your KB to default.

it worked normaly a few days ago and i changed nothing since then.

I tried to change the key layout or to restore it but nothing works.
Also it does not show up in the bottom right corner like it used to be.

There's an option for bind selection. Have you changed it somehow? It's probably in control.

Nope, changed nothing.

I started a new game yesterday for testing.
In the new save everything worked normaly, but in my other save it does not work.

So there is no problem with keybindings

I don't recall ever being able to skip the monk braindance dialogue in my 1747 hours. :x

i havent played the game ina long time and i dont have the option to skip dialogue anymore

I've noticed that sometimes you can skip dialogues even if the shortcut key is not shown in the lower right. But you guys have probably already tried that...
