Big In Japan impossible to complete

Is it possible to restart a side objective?
My "package" is 650m underground. I had to put the package on the ground to deal with the gang, once I returned the package was under the map.
I tried restarting the game, fast traveling, even did other missions in the hope it would reset but it is still under the map. So currently it is impossible for me to complete the mission.

Anyone ran into similar issues or know a potential fix?

Gotta load an earlier save. It happened to me in a mission where i could not get into the basilisk, because it flipped upside down for no reason. Had to restart from an earlier checkpoint.

Had a simuliar issue.. only the car youre supposed to load the package into was 30m undeground... reloading save fixed the issue.

You reload a save before you did drop the package on load game menu. That is, if you haven't overwrite all of them with something else. Other than that, perhaps restarting the game itself may fix that.

all you can do then is to load an earlier (auto) save... :crysusie:

I am already like 10 hours of progress beyond the point I lost the package, not gonna lose so many hours of progress over a single side quest. Will keep it in mind for future quests though.

Make a manual save at least before each main mission. Pretend the game doesn't have autosaves. They're only useful for when you die in a mission.
